The Minnesota Vikings have requested interviews with three more candidates for their General Manager vacancy, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero. The team is looking at Lions assistant General Manager Ray Agnew, Broncos assistant GM Reed Burckhardt, and Dolphins assistant GM Kyle Smith to fill the role.
Agnew joined the Lions in 2021 when Brad Holmes became the team’s GM, bringing experience from his prior role as director of player personnel with the Rams.
Burckhardt, who became the Broncos’ director of player personnel in 2022, spent 13 years with the Vikings as a pro scout before moving to Denver, making him familiar with the organization.
Smith is in his first year with the Dolphins after serving in the same position with the Falcons from 2023 to 2025. He rose through the ranks with Washington’s organization from 2010 to 2020, eventually becoming vice president of player personnel before leaving for Atlanta in 2021.

These three external candidates join a list that includes internal candidate Rob Brzezinski, along with six others already known. The full external candidate pool now features Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander, 49ers assistant GM RJ Gillen, Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray, Rams assistant GM John McKay, Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasely, and Titans assistant GM Dave Ziegler.
