Andrei Talalaev, the head coach of Kaliningrad’s Baltika, assessed his team’s chances of retaining their place in the top flight next season following a 0-1 defeat to Lokomotiv Moscow in Matchday 29 of the Russian Premier League.

“I am confident we will not be relegated next year. Even if players change, even if the coaching staff changes. I am sure that Baltika will keep moving forward as a structure.
We are growing together, and there is positive movement in all directions. I am not ashamed of the football we play — I am ashamed of the result. There is still a match against Dynamo, and we must put everything we have into it,” Talalaev said.
Baltika has earned 46 points and sits fifth in the RPL standings.
